Service Description

"Hands-on" practice to develop skills. Bring your own damaged Crystal, Glass, Silver, Bakelite, etc. This "Hands-on" training is mostly Grinding/sculpting/polishing. Understand the various techniques required for different Crystal & Glass for the best restored finished product. Special techniques to re-shape chipped spouts, reduce stoppers to fit orphaned decanters, smooth out sharp rims, chipped glassware & more. Learn equipment alternatives for silver, Bakelite, etc.  Please limit items brought in with smaller chips, etc.   Products, tools, and equipment will be available for use during training & can be purchased anytime from our inventory. Student textbooks & diplomas awarded. Other information is available with videos, a reference resource library & more. PRICING: The cost per class per person can range from $350.00 to $375.00 per person just depending on what items we are going to be training to restore and what product costs are needed for the "hands-on" workshops. We can offer 20% off per person if 2 people sign up together. We can offer 30% off for 3 or more signed up together. If more than 6, we might want to consider a larger space location. We will require a deposit to hold a place in the classroom that might be non-refundable if not cancelled 30 days prior to training. After 30 days, we have already set up products and classroom space, so we would need to charge a fee of 30% for cancellation. We might be able to work something out to apply that to a future training if circumstances are understandable and we can accommodate.
